Susie is The Guardian’s Head of Partnerships and Philanthropy and is driven by a passion for better communication of purposeful business. Working with corporates, government and Not-for-Profits, Susie quickly establishes relationships at all levels, grasps partners’ business models, landscape and challenges then leads a team to develop solutions that will effect change. Susie creates content and event partnerships driving clients’ and partners’ objectives by connecting with the Guardian’s audience through their shared values. She has worked with global brands like Philips, local giants like Commonwealth Bank and purpose driven brands such as Bank Australia.
She is driven to help leaders realise and leverage the positive business uplift from responsible action, well communicated to their audience. She undertakes speaking commitments to drive this understanding, at conferences like the Digital Marketing Leaders’ Summit, Commscon and Women in Media and podcasts like The CMO Show and IAB Australia’s podcast.
Susie is a Non-Executive Director for the Banksia Foundation, which promotes sustainability in business, joined the Centre for Sustainability Leadership’s Alumni Committee after completing their Fellowship in 2017 and acts as a mentor for social enterprises. She loves seeing the possibilities created by connecting contacts and sharing knowledge.
