Jocelin Abbey is the Head of Marketing for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation, working to ensure that the public broadcaster’s content reaches the broadest possible audience, remaining valued and trusted into the future. Core to this is understanding how Australian audiences are evolving, and how the ABC can continue to meet those needs in a fragmented environment with a range of different products and services.
Jocelin leads an award-winning Marketing team who work with content makers across the country to create impact around the ABC’s distinctive Australian content. She is passionate about the powerful social impact that content can have, especially when leveraging and adapting to the opportunities that digital transformation presents. She is extremely committed to creating opportunities for female leadership and takes great pleasure in contributing to the career development of those she meets along her path.
Jocelin has had over 15 years of experience across a range of environments, in organisations such as Yahoo7, Nova Entertainment, Secret Sounds Group and Universal Music.
