Caitlin Harper

Caitlin Elizabeth Harper is the VP of Internal Communications and Company Culture at Insider Inc., the global digital media organization behind brands like Business Insider, Insider, Business Insider Intelligence, and Markets Insider. As Insider Inc.’s culture steward, she leads their internal communications strategy to keep their 600+ global employees connected and champions their inclusive company culture to ensure that every individual has a creative and engaging place to do their most effective work.

She has spent her career in operations, employee engagement, and communications in media, nonprofits, and small businesses, as well as for the British Columbia Housing Management Commission. She also teaches leadership, personal development, and professional development workshops. Her passion is to cultivate inspiring communities where creative people can thrive.

Caitlin is an author and the host of the Renegade Reading Series, one of New York City’s longest-running series for emerging writers, where she elevates the voices of women, people of color, people with disabilities, and LGBTQIA+ folks.
