Monica Austin is the Director of Global Creative Marketing, leading all Original Series and Stand-Up creative and social title campaigns. Before Netflix, Monica led Entertainment Partnerships at Facebook including Instagram, Oculus and Messenger. There she worked on the development and launch for products such as Live Video, Instagram Stories, Oculus labs and Messenger Bots. Monica started in the mailroom at UTA before discovering her passion for TV and then spent 10+ years of her career in the TV Studio business at ITVStudios and the FOX owned media company, Endemol Shine. Over her career she has been honored with a few marketing awards including Forbes 30 under 30 and Ad Age’s 40 under 40.
