Chief Community Engagement Officer, theDesk
Cecilia Chan is the Chief Community Engagement Officer at theDesk, a pioneer in Hong Kong co-working industry. She is responsible to drive engagement with theDesk ‘inclusive community’, its members and neighbours, via content marketing engine at digital platforms as well as 02020 (online to offline to online) event strategy.
Cecilia focuses heavily on taking theDesk brand to the next level by improving the brand and customer experiences of theDesk ‘inclusive community’. As a member of the c-suite, she is also responsible for developing new business models and overall growth for the company.
Before joining theDesk, for over a decade, Cecilia has been instrumental in elevating the brand for difference companies, including Lenovo in the Asia Pacific Region and Hong Kong. In Hong Kong alone, Cecilia and her team successfully raised Lenovo’s brand consideration four-fold in less than four years.
Cecilia takes a keen interest in growing the marketing industry and participating in industry events and conferences. She served as a member of the judging panels for different industry marketing awards and was the core team to start and form Interactive Advertising Bureau Hong Kong (IAB HK), an industry association aim to grow the Hong Kong digital marketing industry. With her solid contribution to company and marketing/ PR industry, Cecilia also won Lenovo internal and several industry awards.
Cecilia holds a master degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
