It was born out of a belief that in order to innovate originally and responsibly, innovators must complement knowledge of technical possibility with a deeper understanding of human truths at the very start of the innovation process.

The insight yielded through this type of research can be utilised in strategic development, from the high-level ‘art of the possible’ (e.g. unlocking a vision, revealing territories for exploration) to the more granular (e.g. underpinning frameworks that set the direction for new verticals, guiding product / service creation and design).
