Matthew Evans is a veteran product and content-led business executive with extensive experience building digital businesses for iconic brands across entertainment such as Universal Music Group, RollingStone, Moviefone, NBC and Nickelodeon.
In his most recent role as EVP, Digital & New Business for Nickelodeon, Matthew was responsible for extending the iconic entertainment brand to new platforms, reaching and engaging their fans in entirely new ways. He led strategy, content development and programming, partnerships, product management, design, technology, and innovation. Matthew built and managed Nickelodeon’s entire portfolio of digital businesses which included the award-winning video streaming services for Nick and Nick Jr. and the subscription video service for Noggin, as well as mobile games, voice products, and the Nickelodeon Entertainment Lab. He spearheaded Nickelodeon’s expansion into mobile and connected devices, interactive video, augmented reality, eSports through its investment in Super League Gaming, and location-based VR with its investment in Dreamscape Immersive.
