Director of Business Development, American Express
Ariel Blum is currently the Director of Business Development at American Express, working to expand Plenti, the first loyalty coalition, in the United States. Prior to joining Plenti, Ariel worked on the Amex Enterprise Digital team and helped spearhead the Business Development efforts of Amex Express Checkout. In just two short years, the team were able work together to close and launch the product on hundreds of merchant sites and as a result, the product was named the #1 Buy Button by PYMNTS.com at the end of 2016.
Prior to joining Amex, Ariel was the Business Development Manager at TOMORRO, a “value accelerator” that provides financial and strategic consulting to early-stage and mid-sized AdTech companies and also worked at The FP Group at the Washington Post and The Wall Street Journal.
Ariel attended Binghamton University where he triple majored and also studied abroad in Italy and Israel. He is an avid world traveler, hockey enthusiast, soccer player, and student of history.
