Strategy Director, Barclays
Marvena Edmond is a corporate strategy leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, operational change management, and growth initiatives with a career spanning management consulting and financial services. In her current role, as Director in Group Strategy at Barclays, Marvena advises management teams of Banking, Markets and select Infrastructure Functions to develop, and architect commercial solutions that unlock Business, Client, and Shareholder value. Prior to joining Barclays, Marvena was a Strategy lead at Deutsche Bank focusing on strategy and operations for the Americas franchise.
As a management consultant at EY, Marvena formed a wealth of experience structuring strategic initiatives for some of the largest financial services firms such as J.P. Morgan, Credit Suisse, Wells Fargo, etc. Outside of work, she is also committed to community service endeavours as a Board Member of East Side House, and a team leader for Habitat for Humanity’s global village programs.
Marvena received a BS in Computer Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University, an MS in Policy from Stony Brook University and an MBA in General Management from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
