EVP, Global Digital Strategy, Warner Chappell Music
Eric Mackay is the Executive Vice President of Global Digital Strategy at Warner Chappell Music. In this role, Mackay oversees the newly-rebranded publishing company’s relationships and negotiations with digital partners across the world. He and his team specifically focus on driving revenue, increasing exposure for Warner Chappell songwriters, and partnering with innovative services that explore creative ways for fans to enjoy music.
Mackay joined Chappell in 2015 as Head of Digital, Europe. He was promoted to Vice President of Digital for Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific in 2016 before being promoted to his current position in 2017. Prior to Warner Chappell Music, Eric held positions at Vevo, CELAS/PRS for Music, White Noise, and Integral Management, collectively covering a nearly 20-year career in the music industry.
Along with leading the company’s digital strategy, Eric serves as a champion for diversity and inclusion, recently helping to launch an LGBTQ+ employee resource group at its LA office and providing mentorship to younger professionals in the LGBTQ+ community.
