Sanofi
Tal, a father of two high-energy boys, and a trained Alfred Hospital physician, currently sits on Sanofi’s executive leadership team as the company’s Innovation Director.
In addition to his Medical work at the Alfred Hospital, in Kenya and in indigenous health in far north Queensland, Tal spent five years in the US working in health innovation – helping to grow the largest web-based health information library, developing new concepts in marketing, education, and e-strategy and working as a strategic consultant across healthcare.
During his seven years at Sanofi, Tal has moved through various pharmaceutical medico-marketing and management roles, including a recent role as the company’s Medical Director. He currently leads the Innovation Business Unit, a product-agnostic HealthCare Division of Sanofi.
Innovation focuses on working towards an interconnected healthcare future, where knowledge is accessible everywhere, where data is algorithmically analysed for actionable insights, where patients are treated bespokely as people, and where Sanofi delivers sustainable health innovations focused on the triple aim – better health outcomes, healthcare efficiencies, and improved customer experience of health.
