Angeline Achariya is General Manager for the Food Innovation Centre and has pioneered the vision and execution of the Food Innovation Centre to be a one stop innovation hub with its objective to unlock consumer insights and innovation for export into Asian markets by de-risking innovation and connecting SMEs, people, state, federal governments, industry, higher education and technology through collaborative programs. Angeline has extensive FMCG & food service retail experience in commercialising innovation and leadership experience across Australia, New Zealand, Japan, China and Thailand markets with a successful track record of innovations launched across grocery and quick service restaurant categories in these markets. Angeline’s career in the food industry has spanned from small business (Mrs Crockets) , consultancy to blue chip FMCG companies like Masterfoods Japan part of the MARS group; Fonterra, Yum! Brands (owners of KFC, Pizza Hut & Taco Bell) and has delivered significant projects in innovation and change management initiatives over her career. She is a highly sought after innovation speaker at national and international innovation conferences/workshops on innovation leadership/management and export pathways to Asia.
