What did you want to become when you were 10 years old and why?
A landscaper. I wanted to work with my hands while sculpting and creating new elements for consumption. My family is all in construction and I was too young to handle power tools on my own.
How long have you worked in programmatic advertising?
5+ years since joining A+E Networks to launch our programmatic strategy.
What’s the first thing you do when you get to work?
Talk to my team. With backpack still in hand I will ask them how their night was and what is on their mind for the day ahead as I walk past their offices and desks.
What’s your ice breaker at the office kitchen?
Sports or food related. “What are you heating up this morning” or “is it a late lunch today?”
What is the future of programmatic for your industry?
Stronger device graphs for cross-platform story-telling for ad campaigns leveraging data and marketplaces. Vast majority of transactional impressions to run through programmatic type pipes.
What is programmatic’s next challenge?
Fix the user experience as a result of Programmatic’s lack of standardization.
