Remy Becher is The Economist’s VP of Product, looking after The Economist’s digital product development. He leads a team of product and customer experience professionals in defining and delivering engaging customer experiences. Remy’s product portfolios serve a multitude of customers, from consumers purchasing subscription products to the newsroom creating and curating content.
In addition, he looks after the Labs team, finding new ways for consumers to discover and consume The Economist’s journalism, most recently via connected devices and voice-controlled experiences.
Previously, Remy managed The Economist’s award-winning morning briefing product, The Economist Espresso, and has seen it develop from idea to reality, now with more than 1 million downloads. He also oversaw the development of The Economist’s first bi-lingual app, Global Business Review, for the greater Chinese market.
