Maura Tuohy is the Global Director of Marketing for Firefox at Mozilla – the independent, not for profit that makes the Firefox browser, a product used by 300+ million people globally.
Prior to joining Mozilla she led content marketing at San Francisco and Sydney digital, media and creative agencies, launching clients like Microsoft, Virgin America and Lyft into the perilous world of participation marketing.
Maura is passionate about the intersection of technology and humanity and is currently undertaking a Masters of Studies in Law at UC Hastings. She coined the term “sociodigital anthropology” – the study of humans through their social media behaviors- and has given multiple talks on the topic.
